Connect availability with a calendar link
Best for any property system or channel manager that can export an iCal calendar link per room type.
What you'll need
- A Bookd group account
- Your property system's iCal export link for each room type (it usually ends in .ics)
Add your room types
In your Bookd dashboard, open the property and add each room type (name, max guests, base price, minimum nights).
Find the calendar link
In your property system or channel manager, find the iCal export / calendar sync link for that room type. It usually ends in
.icsand starts withhttps://.Paste it into Bookd
Paste it into the room type's Calendar link field and save. Bookd reads it straight away, then about every 10 minutes, and blocks every date the calendar shows as booked or closed.
Set your rates
Set your rates in the dashboard (or upload them from the spreadsheet template). With a calendar link, availability comes from your calendar and prices come from Bookd.
Import the Bookd feed (recommended)
Copy the property's Bookd calendar feed from the dashboard into your property system or channel manager as an imported calendar, so Bookd requests block dates there too.
Go live
Choose Go live. Your group's AI booking endpoint now includes the property.
